Mark has worked in the Golf Industry in New Zealand, America, Europe and Australia since 2000. In his time as a PGA Professional he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, experience and awards, some of which are listed below;

Glenn Whittle – PGA Professional

Glenn has worked in the Golf Industry since 1990 completing his Traineeship at Concord Golf Club in 1992. Glenn played Tournament golf in Australia and overseas before focusing on lead roles including;

  • Head Coach – Jack Newton Junior Golf (1998 to 2004)
  • Manager National Coaching Programs – PGA Australia (2005 to 2010)
  • Head Coach, NSW Institute of Sport, Golf (2011 to 2016)

Whilst raising a family of 4 boys Glenn then focused on coaching locally at The Ridge Golf Course, Tempe Golf Range and Barton Park Driving Range where Whittle Golf Academy was established. Glenn has always kept himself busy with numerous things including;

  • Writing the Australian PGA Associate Teaching Manual
  • National High Performance Panel Member, Golf Australia
  • PGA National Coaching Summit Presenter, four times
  • Designed putters for Precision Putters in Australia
  • Former Coach to Golf Australia National Squad Member, Jeffrey Guan and former LPGA Tour Coach, Julia Boland
  • Created the Train Your Plane, training aid and launched it in 2022
  • Golf Podcast Host, Yardage Book Yarns, since 2020
